The answer might be right there in front of you, but more often than not we are so wrapped up in seeing our “limitations” instead of focusing on serving others and look for creative ways to uplevel our skills to serve a need.

When you focus all your attention on problem-solving, you’ll see opportunities everywhere.  Stop focusing on the problem, ask yourself what is the problem that I am trying to solve? You will find creative ways to find solutions to that problem and also build the necessary skills to help you succeed.

My guest today did just that, Heather is a birth photographer who saw a need in her photography clients and decided to jump at the opportunity, even though the new service she was about to offer was in a totally different industry, she bound them together by a common interest; help women giving birth the support they need before and after pregnancy.

She not only expanded her services and skills, but she found a way where she did not have to leave the industry she loves.

In this episode, you will also learn:

  • Finding support during and after pregnancy
  • Doula, midwife, what is the difference?
  • The importance of community
  • How to find confidence in yourself
  • Building trust with your clients
  • Showing up authentically

Be true to yourself and show up authentically
